_The moment you see the newly added films added to Netflix and you start watching…
_I had such a moment only a few days ago.
_I was bored. I went on Netflix. I saw that The Intern had been added. I started watching.
_The film had been on my list of films-I-have-to-see for quite some time. But, as I don’t have television and a strict budget on my DVD purchases, I had to wait a long time. It was quite the magical moment when I discovered it on Netflix and I started watching even though there was hardly time for a full-length film – me being ill, it being quite late … Who cares?
_The Intern:
_If I may borrow from imdb:
70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin.
_Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway make the best on-screen team. I mean, everything that happened was pretty obvious, but I didn’t care, this is a feel-good movie that you can watch anytime and with anyone.
_I’ll admit that I wasn’t quite happy with one of the decision Jules made towards the end, but that’s just me. Fact is, I can only recommend this film to anyone who doesn’t mind watching the story of the last gentleman and his friendship with a strong and successful female business owner.
