To help out her friend, Carly pretends to be Tanya for one gorgeous, glamorous night. Even if she’s not a sophisticated event organizer like Tanya, how difficult can overseeing the gallery auction be for a fine arts graduate? Attending the elitist art event is a dream come true and Carly needs the money the job will pay. The evening turns out more magical than Carly’s wildest dreams when the sponsor, French art investor, Antoine Thomas, invites her back to his hotel room. For a few fairytale hours, Carly can be someone she isn’t. She takes what she wants, but when she wakes up with a lot more than a sorely loved body, her life changes in a frightening way.

Review –

Okay, the first rule of thumb is NEVER pretend to be someone you’re not! That’s what Carly agrees to do for her friend(who she has only known a few months)and proceeds to oversee a gallery opening. So, of course, she runs into the handsome French art investor, Antoine Thomas, and he believing her to be Tanya(whom he has been emailing) asks her back to his hotel room. So, after several drinks and acts of sex, she wakes up the next morning, groggy but with a wedding ring on her hand. Can we all say SURPRISE?

Not really, this story is as old as time and a bit boring so I won’t be reading the other three short books in the series.

Suffice it to say, I was glad when the story ended.
