review 1: I liked the first book - Same kind of different as me but I enjoyed seeing the continuation of the relationship of Ron and Denver. The speech made by Ron at the end of the book as he was speaking to one of the cities about homelessness was very humbling. If every single church (all religions) adopted ONE homeless person - this act alone would help reduce homelessness through love and relationships on a ONE on ONE basis.
review 2: I thoroughly enjoyed this book - such a challenge to expand one's world and see life from other people's perspective and do what one can to help. Especially as a Christian, there's no excuse not to be trying to help those less fortunate. In this book, it was especially notable that the one who was the original "giver,"(Ron) ended u... morep being tremendously helped by the "taker" (Denver). God truly does work in wondrous ways! less
