review 1: I listened to this audio book and I loved every single story in this book. She read it herself, which I think thoroughly added to my enjoyment. It was everything I could ask for in a humorist book. It was well written and the right mix of sentimental and humiliating. Highlights include how she met her husband while playing Sailor Moon and a cat trying to copulate with her head. I was smiling and laughing out loud the whole time. Glad I picked this one up.
review 2: I'm kind of surprised that Samantha Bee had no idea the enormity of the boots she was stepping into when she acted in a staged Sailor Moon show. But what a funny way to meet your future husband, who was of course cast as Tuxedo Mask. I'm shocked that she survived her crazy teenage years to become a
... more pretty well-rounded and talented person. I do wish she included an image of a much described photograph of herself on horseback. What is a comedic memoir without the singlularly embarrassing adolescent androgynous photograph of the author? less

Funny. Sometimes a little painfully awkward - but adolescence is hard on everyone.
