review 1: Same old song and dance. It's a bit Twilight meets Buffy with a side of Sookie Stackhouse. I'd give this book 3 and 1/2 Stars. It was engaging enough that I will pick up the rest of the series but nothing original. Good summer read because it is light and quick. I am still trying...
