review 1: I sometimes have a hard time reading non-fiction but this book really pulled me in. It was interesting to learn about psych dogs and how they differ from guide dogs or search and rescue dogs. Charleson does an excellent job of weaving her own rescue and training stories throughout the book. You get a look at a few dogs and the owners who need them and come away with a better understanding of what a great alternative this is for so many people. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to any dog lover!

... moreserve, as well as the detailed process of preparing the dog for the role. The ideal reader for this book is someone who is passionate about knowing through a first person narrative about all that goes into training a service dog, an emotional support dog or psych dog. less
