review 1: Yesterday I lost a very dear friend who was like a father to me. This book showed up when I did a search on Amazon for books about grief. Sometimes it's hard to believe, but good things can come from losing someone you love. If Tammy Strobel hadn't lost her beloved father-in-law, I wouldn't have been comforted last night by the idea of starting a creative project of my own in honor of one of my best friends. The photos alone are worth the price of the book -- she is an excellent photographer, and there is an element of peace and contentment in her photos. This book was exactly what I needed and I will be returning to it often as I process my loss.
review 2: I really enjoy Tammy's voice and her photography. I've followed along in Instagram during her photograph
... morey project, and was quite curious to read the book. The book is a quick read, including many of her photos from throughout the year along with brief commentary. I enjoyed it, and would recommend it. Though I'm lucky enough to not be dealing with grief, the book still was quite enjoyable and left me feeling happy and appreciative. less

A gorgeous little book that I will keep on my Kindle so I can read it again and again.

Inspiring. The don't let the grief part turn you off. It's barely mentioned.

I read this because it was free. It wasn't a waste of money; I guess.

Beautiful project but the Kindle didn't do it justice.
