review 1: Audience: Kindergarten to 4th grade Appeal: Cat or pet lovers. Lots of big pictures and great colors. Rhyming words to make the book fun.Application: This book can be incorporated in the everyday classroom and can teach children how to help others, whether it be people or animals. It can also be used to help children with their rhyming words and help them identify how words ryhme together.Award: 12/13 Golden Sower Nominee
review 2: Audience- I believe the best group for this would be primary students. This is because is a book that repeats itself several times. I feel the students in 1/2/3 grade will be able to read this easier because with the repeating and (hopefully) the like for cats it will help them finish the book. Appeal-I believe this book would
... more best fit students who are into cats. This is because the whole book is about a family keeping more cats when the dad does not want to. I also feel that students with cats or who want a cat would best enjoy it because it is an easy read and they will enjoy the different cats. Application- I could use this in my classroom to discuss rhyming. There are several different rhyming sentences that could help the students understand it better. Also i could use it for predictions; the students could look at the pictures and predict what is being said on that page. (Guess and check as well)Award list- Nebraska Golden sower nom (2012-3)Copyright- 2010 less

This is a cute little repetitive picture book. The illustrations are okay, but nothing special.
