review 1: This biography is very funny. As you would expect from Tim Conway. I loved the reminisces of McHale's Navy and The Carol Burnett Show. His humor is bizarre, to say the least, and the world in which he grew up tends to explain a lot. After reading this I feel I know Tim much better; his values, his work ethic and his sense of just plain fun. If you like nostalgia with a heavy touch of humor, you will like this book. Get it, sit down and open it up and prepare to laugh.
review 2: Well I have the answer to the books title question "Whats So Funny?"...not much. I think if he was sitting at dinner with me telling me some of these stories I'd laugh out loud. They lose something on the printed page. I was really hoping for something good, but its just dry and not very... more interesting. He does comes across as a very nice man, which is one thing I was looking for. Maybe this would be a good audio book. less
