review 1: Through My EyesTim TebowWhen Tim Tebow was a little kid, he loved to play sports with his brothers. Tim Tebow grew up in Jacksonville Florida on a small farm with his family, and wanted to play in the NFL. As a kid, he was homeschooled by his mom, but he couldn't play football in High school because he was homeschooled, but they found away. Tim played football at Nease, and he was an all star. He broke many school records. After High School, he went off to play for the University of Florida. There, he won 2 BCS National Championships and went off to play in the NFL. With the 25th pick, the Denver Broncos selected him. Tim Tebow's NFL career ended rather quickly after just 3 seasons. People thought he was not good enough to be a Quarterback. Tim Tebow finished his career wi... moreth 17-9 TD-INT Ratio, 2422 Passing Yards, 75.3 Passer Rating, 989 Rushing Yards, and 12 Rushing Yards.Overall, I thought this was a very motivational book for me because Tim Tebow worked so hard to get into the NFL, and never gave up his dream. I think kids ages 8-16 should read this book because Tim Tebow is one of the nicest and most athletic guy in the world, and this motivates people to do good in life, just because of him
review 2: I personally liked this book a lot because it taught me a lot about hard work, dedication, and believing in God. Tim Tebow is the main character. The book takes you through how when Tim was young how he was a good athlete, and it showed you how hard he worked. Tim and his family lived on a family farm in Florida, his mom and dad showed him early on the value of hard work. Tim had 5 other siblings while growing. Growing up on the farm taught Tim hard work, but not only did he live on the farm he worked on the farm everyday because he and his siblings were home schooled. His family was very involved in their church and they raised Tim in the church also, at the age of fifteen Tim went on a mission trip to the Philippines. Tim was always a good athlete but when he got to high school he realized he had a chance at football. When it came time to choose a high school he chose the powerhouse Ponte Vedra (FL) Nease to continue playing football and baseball at. As a junior quarterback for Nease, Tebow became a big time recruit because of his talents to throw and run the ball. This started the recruiting process for young Mr. Tebow, and it was a very hectic process. As a senior Tebow had another stellar season and when it came down to the wire in his college choices, Alabama and Florida were the final two standing. In the end Florida’s coach Urban Meyer made the difference in where he chose. Tim had a very successful career at Florida winning two national titles; he also won the prestigious Heisman trophy. After one of the most successful college careers ever, Tim took his talents to the NFL and was drafted by the Denver Broncos. Denver named Tim their starter for that year before he was traded to the Jets and was the starter there also. Now Tim is a college football analyst for ESPN and is having a wonderful life, but he still is enjoying the most precious things in his life, GOD, FAMILY, and FOOTBALL. Watching sports all my life I always have admired Tim Tebow because of his perseverance in life and in sports, and also because of how he conducts his faith. If you go to church and have faith, this book would be good for you because a lot of bible verses are recited. I also really enjoyed this book because it teaches you good life values that can help at any place in your life. If you’re looking for a great inspirational read that shows you what hard is about I would definitely recommend “Through My Eyes by Tim Tebow.” less
