review 1: This was an interesting read, pretty much every person interviewed has a different memory of the events. Since everyone was constantly drunk or high, that's understandable. There was more than a little boo-hooing when Vince was talking. There was also a few really emotional parts, when he talked of his kids. Even though he wasn't always there but you get the feeling that he cared a lot. All in all this was an okay book but it was essentially a rushed account of all the parties and fights he was in, he spent more time talking drugs and parties than he did about the real stuff going on in his life. Which I guess for him the drugs and parties are the real stuff.
review 2: I've not read The Dirt so I can't compare it to that but this was an enjoyable read.I love Mo
... moretley Crue and their last cd was the best one yet.Vince is a rock star and he did what rock stars did in the 80's.Was the way they behaved right - hell no but did they have fun - hell yes.The up's and downs are all detailed and he is lucky to be alive - they all are.I wouldn't want him meeting any women I know but I'd love to party with himYou rock Vince and long live the Crue less

Love this. Raw, gritty, told as Vince Neil was sitting talking to me.

Not nearly as good of a writer as Nikki Sixx.
