review 1: Reza's dialogue here is just as impressively realistic and tense as in 'Art,' but while that play felt like a critical moment in a long friendship, God of Carnage is just an argument between total strangers that devolves from passive aggression to literal aggression. It is tense in a way that feels cacophonous and bitter, and there isn't really anything that justifies this level of unpleasantness.
review 2: Two sets of parents sit down to discuss their sons' fight that cost one boy two of his teeth. The conversation goes from uncomfortable to hostile, not only between the parents, as the reader would imagine, but also among them. Who fights with their spouse in front of company, especially when the focus is supposed to be on the boys? The boys are never in the
