review 1: I liked this book because it really made some complex economics terms/ideas pretty simple. It's not a perfect book, and it'll take a few reads through to really get everything down, but it did break economics down in a fun and easy way and made me think about things. I really enjoyed the examples they used and I would definitely recommend this book to a friend if they were curious for information on economics.
review 2: Funny, engaging, well-informed, concise, good art. Pretty much everything I remember from my community college economics class was touched upon in this book, plus I learned a few new things. As an introduction, this book also does a good job at directing the reader toward good places for further reading. I was surprised by the artwork too. Gra... moredy Klein's impressionistic inkwork reminds me a bit of the work Bill Watterson and Mike Mignola, he nicely conveys a diverse range of characters, and most impressively simplifies and delivers complex, abstract information that is inherently non-visual.
