The Airel Saga
review 1: We know that Airel is a teenager - whole pages are filled with her thoughts and impressions, to much and too colorful if you ask me. Then she has some strange aches and begins to see things and become beautiful. Between these episodes where Airel goes to school, meets her best friend and falls for a stranger, we are transported some 2000 years BC when we met some beings we suspect are angels (although they are referred to as Arch) who battle the Dark Brotherhood (a strange symbiosis between man and demon) lead by the Seer. And the book ends. The plot probably develops in sequels, but entire pages witth nothing happening is not my thing.

... morerrible... just didnt feel like a complete story. And the main character was kind of annoying. It felt like the author was trying to explain how she wasn't a typical teenager, how she hated her cliche-like girlie reactions, etc, but failed miserably. I think if you're going to write a book where a teen girl falls in love (or at least swoons) then you might as well embrace it. Don't try to fight the stereotype or make it seem like the character herself hates the way she is acting... and please don't underestimate the readers intelligence. less

Didn't really feel like the story got going in this one but potential for the future books though!

10 minutes in and done. That has to be a new record for me. How did this get published?

I liked it but not too much. Somehow, I could not connect to the characters.
