review 1: The author very kindly gifted me this book through "Goodreads", and what a book it is! I thoroughly enjoyed it and want more! The storyline is pretty complex, with lots of wonderful characters and a unique storyline, so you need to keep your wits about you. Having said that, Ms Warneka, is such a gifted author, everything becomes clear, falls neatly into place and you end up so emotionally involved, that the characters become real. I wanted to shout, scream and cause physical pain to Armand and then, due to her extraordinary talent, ended up with tears in my eyes, thinking "No, please don't do this" as the tears fell down my face. Please don't worry, it does have a truly wonderful happy ending, as all good romances should have. The cover for the book, covers the stor... moreyline well, so I won't repeat, but I should say, that though this is part of a three part series, it can be read as a stand alone (I have not read the two previous books), but they are waiting for me on my kindle, I had to get them! As Ms Warneke states "Fall in love with a gargoyle", I know I have (and possibly a imp). Highly recommended.
review 2: May inadvertantly contain spoilers....Omg! Couldn't put it down! Finally glad to read ferris and Armand's story after so long (stone romance) I knew it was going to be EPIC! Just had no idea how...I actually cried! My heart broke for ferris and I cursed Armand! Just when everything looked like a happy ending-BAM! Roller coaster of emotional highs and depressing lows. A.c. Warnecke DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! while I love reading paranormal romance I will admit that this.series was my first taste of "gargoyle love". Unique storyline. Had to wrap my head around a few events, but everything tied together beautifully at the end. I was emotionally exhausted, but I finally got to breathe that sigh of relief. Thank you! less
