review 1: This was a decent read. The artwork was ok, detailed in the sense that the drawn characters looked like the actors from the series, but not so much detailed overall. It had a photo-shopped look to it whereas the people looked pasted onto a background. I had hoped for better but at least it was not as distracting as some artwork.I am glad that it was not a retelling of season 1 of the show or the first book, but rather a stand alone story that truly has no impact on either, told during the time that Sookie and Bill were together. All the regular players were involved and it was nice to see some flashbacks and gain insight into their previous lives.I will definitely be open to reading vol. 2.

... moreue Blood Shows I just had to request this book from my local library to give it a try. I found it to be very enjoyable it had me flipping through pages like a kid with candy. It came very much alive when the characters were portrayed the way they were as if in the show and the books. I can not wait to melt into the next VOLUME. WHOO WHOO :) less
