... morey cringe-worthy gigs (including seeing Russell Brand's willy on stage!)But gradually through perseverance and a strong spine he manages to get a name for himself in comedy. Alan comes across as a really lovely bloke, very tongue in cheek and able to laugh at himself. He is very down to earth and almost seems to lack confidence - there#s certainly no arrogance here. He has a knack of making even the smallest things come across as very funny. less
