review 1: When the zompocalypse occurs, Donna, who has strange silver eyes and hears voices in her head, and her friend Deke, escape the cruise ship that is overrun with zombies and wind up hiding out in their high school along with several other teens who are attempting to survive. Luckily, some members of the robotics club are with them along with a couple of cheerleaders and the class president. I totally enjoyed this spoofy teen paranormal romance about zombies and I think that other people will too. I received this book free to review from Netgalley.
review 2: Donna and her Dad are on a cruise with Deke and his grandmother when a virus has most of the world population turning into zombies. They land in port and Donna and Deke escape the ship and make it to their... more high school where more students are surviving inside. Donna's dad and grandmother set the ship on fire and escape in a lifeboat to find another cruise ship that hasn't been infected. Donna does get bit but doesn't turn into a zombie and they are trying to get her blood to the CDC to help find a cure. This is a good teen read with and action hero, a traitor in the midst, heartbreak and a love story. I hope there will be more books with these characters because I think not only teens but adults will enjoy them. less
