If I read Colton in another story I would skip right over him. There was nothing interesting about him. He was not developed at all. He only wanted to be with Mallory and even though he kept saying that he wanted more from her the sex was always an added bonus. I knew nothing about his past, his future, or even his present. He was just a guy in a story. I think I'm disappointed with this story. I had such high hopes for it but I was let down. I didn't like Mallory either. She had issues that didn't make sense. She was from a small town that she never left until she went to college. Her father may have been a big deal but I wouldn't have automatically assumed she came from money just because of who her father was. They didn't live int he same city and he had not been there in at least 8 years so why would anyone come to the conclusion that she had money. The theory that Tanner only wanted her for more money was weak. They didn't click end of story. To throw him in while she was visiting her father was flimsy. I liked the plot but I thought a lot more could have been done with it maybe more drama.

OMG... I wanted to slap that girl! I had been wanting to read this book for a while. So I finally dove in and man it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. I loved Colton, thought he was a great character. Mallory was a different story altogether. Mallory was more concerned that he was 3months younger than her. The girl defiantly had father issues. That being said I had moments where I was laughing but I just couldn't get past the main characters flaws.
