Italian culture and history through Italian cousine. Impossible to put down, great book.
Read the first couple of chapters and decided it would make a good reference book...
I learned how corn saved thousands of Italians from starving. Thank you, Hapsburgs!
Subject matter, good. Format, good. Writing - a smidge boring. No pictures.
Doesn't live up to its promise -- but some nice photos.
