What to say about a book that ends with the phrase, "it was really nice"? Other than that it shouldn't be taken as a descriptor of the quality of the book. A detective who drives a Porsche - it was like reading a screenplay for a 1980s/90s action film. The plot was ok, not particularly gripping. The dialogue was wooden. And I really can't figure out why the author felt the need to describe the detectives' outfits when they appeared in the story, other than perhaps the author has an interest in fashion so thought she'd weave it in, but it was awkward and didn't seem at all necessary as part of the story.
