Listened to after reading Stephen King's review in Entertainment Weekly. Brilliant audio-book.
Overly complex and dense. Not a patch on the other two of the trilogy
I so want to like this book but it is all over the place.
Third installment and it just got better & better.
great book. best that i have read from ellroy.
