This book started funny with a lot of promiss; but unfortunately after the setup, and if I'm generous after the first half; nothing really happens. All the promiss of the first pages seems forgotten and our two main characters fall in love without anything or anyone putting up any resistance. Ofcourse there is the Russion prince, but Julia Quinn quickly terminates that possible danger in a most ridiculious and easy manner. And her parents seem to be sleeping all day long. I was sorry that the promiss was not fullfilled.

Not as moving as the first book in the series although sufficiently entertaining and funny. The Olivia we know in the previous book shines less in this one. Too bad when she's the lead here and we're supposed to appreciate her more. I like it that Harry wasn't averse to recognizing himself in love and not even slightly afraid of declaring himself; out of the overflow of his heart, it all comes out from his mouth.

NOTHING happens in this book. Literally nothing. But it was fun to read and I really enjoyed it.
