Another middle grade book bought for a niece for Xmas. Mystery with a little bit of a ghost story.
It was a very complicated book in the beginning and hard to keep everything straight.
Mysterious strangers stuck in a wintry inn? Role-playing games? All good to me!
I found the beginning slow, but it picked up speed nicely.
Just delightful. On my Newbery award short list for sure.
