A classic story works not matter where it gets told. And yes Oscar's Mama gets a great gift.
I found the illustrations enthralling, and the story was decent. Together, it works.
A sweet story about a boy searching for the perfect gift for his Mama's birthday.
What a horrible thing to do to a book!
