This was my favorite book of the Scoundrels of St. James series. Frannie was an interesting character, and it was great to see how the incidents in her life has made her the strong woman she turned out to be. Also, the affection from Feagan's lads is cute the way they treat her like a sister. Well, except for Swindler, but that's the next book.Sterling was also interesting because he was tortured in a completely different way than growing up in the rookeries. His secret is kept with him until the very end, and it is endearing how their lives turn out.

My favorite in the series by far. I actually loved both the characters. I could not put this one down. I loved finally learning the Frannie got her happy ending. My only regret is that the author pretty much ruins the next book for us by giving us a glimpse into Jim's story. Not cool! I hate when the authors do that. It's like really I want to read what happens not be told about it in the book before it!!

Nice story. Love how they match with each other. But still my favorite is Luke and Cat.
