I'm just going to say that Evan McCarthy does his Daddy proud in this book. I love the way he stepped up and helped Grace and while he did have a moment that was slap upside the head crazy, deep down he's still a really good man. Both he and Grace have a lot of insecurities and I loved watching them share their burden with each other. While some other readers didn't like seeing all the other couples in this story, to me that really added to this book. While their relationship moved very quickly, I felt their connection and it was evident these two not only need each other they belong together. One of my favorites to date in this series.
Evan is such a sweetheart, softy. He's been taught well by his parents to care for others and though he tries not to fall for Grace, he kinda does. It does take some jealousy kicking in to get him working on it though. Grace is an interesting character, the tortured fat girl as a youth who has to get away from it all to start a new life.Really enjoyed learning more about Laura and Owen! All the Oldies songs Owen and Evan sang were a great trip down memory lane.
Loved Grace and Evan. So glad Grace decided to by Gold's pharmacy and stay on the island!
