review 1: This 5th book's story line was sad but really good as well. I really liked the hot & steamy scenes. I really liked the dialogue in this story it made me laugh. I really enjoyed the scenes with the McCarthy brothers. I really liked Evan's character, he seemed so cute. I was happy & I felt sorry for Grace. I really enjoyed the scene with Grace, Stephanie, & Laura. I loved how Mac stands up for his family. I really liked how Maddie stood up to her dad. I felt sorry for Tiffany & Laura. I can't wait to read Laura & Tiffany's stories.
review 2: This is Evan and Grace's story and it was a good one. I'm really enjoying this series more and more and have been reading them one after the other. I can't get enough. What is really enjoyable is the fact that there are multi
... moreple stories going on and others continuing throughout a book, along with the developing new romance. Evan was sure he was going to be single and fancy free until Grace come along. Helping her out and then she reappears to pay him back was a little surprising to him. I'm glad there was little drama and Evan wised up to the fact that he may not be better off being single. Grace was a good character as well considering all she went through and stands independently from Evan as her own person. less

I'm just going to say that Evan McCarthy does his Daddy proud in this book. I love the way he stepped up and helped Grace and while he did have a moment that was slap upside the head crazy, deep down he's still a really good man. Both he and Grace have a lot of insecurities and I loved watching them share their burden with each other. While some other readers didn't like seeing all the other couples in this story, to me that really added to this book. While their relationship moved very quickly, I felt their connection and it was evident these two not only need each other they belong together. One of my favorites to date in this series.

Evan is such a sweetheart, softy. He's been taught well by his parents to care for others and though he tries not to fall for Grace, he kinda does. It does take some jealousy kicking in to get him working on it though. Grace is an interesting character, the tortured fat girl as a youth who has to get away from it all to start a new life.Really enjoyed learning more about Laura and Owen! All the Oldies songs Owen and Evan sang were a great trip down memory lane.
