This book was heartbreaking, but it helped me cope with losing my step-mom, who mothered me so well.
Poignant and beautifully written. A very useful read for anyone wanting to look at grief and loss.
"The more we hygienically avoid messy emotions, the more they infect us."
Again with the poets-write-powerful-memoirs-of-loss thing.
Impressive personal meditation on Grief.
