Shit scalated quickly.Brb, reading Retribution now.[EDITED] Okay, I'm calmer now so I can properly review this book.WHAT. THE. FUCK. If you think that this book cannot fuck you up further: well, you're wrong. I just did not expect it. I spent half the book trying to figure out whether Mara was really insane or not, and then shit went down. Hard.I was very confused at the beginning, but it is quite impressive how Hodkin opens so many different lines to throw them all together in the end in the most subtle way. All through 500 pages of pure intensity, you certainly have to struggle to put it down. Also, Noah Shaw is reason enough to read this trilogy. He's a sarcastic cocky prick and I want one of those for Christmas. Also, WHATTHEACTUALFUCK.
This book is intense. I found myself taking breaks in between chapters. I was never bored reading this. I was on edge throughout the book. I wouldn't reread the book , but I am so glad I read it. It's like no other, creative, original, and I found myself thinking about Mara even when I wasn't reading it. if you want to be opened to new world, like great charecters , something that will keep you reading , YOU HAVE TO PICK UP THIS BOOK. Trust me if you thought the first book was good, the second one is so much better !
Tbh. It was better than the first one.
