Not a literary classic, but I loved this story. Plus New England is the primary setting!
This should be a 3.5. The first half was slow, and the second half read faster.
This is a recommended read. Satisfying and emotional on several levels.
SLOW....PAINFULLY SLOW but the ending makes it all worth it!
