ഈ നോവലിന്റെ കൂടെ ഒരു പ്രതികരണ പതിപ്പ് വായിക്കാൻ ഇടയായി അതിലെ എഴുത്ത് ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു ......."ഇത്ര മാത്രം ദയനീയതകൾ വരച്ചു കാണിക്കാൻ അതിലേറെ ഹാസ്യ ചിന്താഗതിയുള്ള ബഷീറിനെ പ്രേരിപിച്ചതെന്താകും" ....ബഷീര് ചിരിപ്പിച്ചും കരയിപ്പിച്ചും ചിന്തിപ്പിച്ചും ഈ ലോകത്തോട് വിടപറഞ്ഞു .....വായിച്ചു കയിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ജീവിതത്തോട് തന്നെ ഒരു മടുപ്പ് തോന്നി .........കൂടെ കണ്ണ് നീരും ....
Best book of my life. Mammootty has done an huge sin by making a movie and acting as majeed. Best part of the book is when majeed is leaving home for the last time and Suhra waving good bye. She had to say something, but since the bus came, she couldnt.What was that she wanted to say ? no other love story has affected me like this. It was a massive small huge story.Like Erich Segals Love Story.
