review 1: It wasn't all that. After a few chapters I was able to predict the rest of the book. If you're interested in sex scenes.. Ha! The sex scenes were so whack. Like, this book would be something a young teen (14, 15) would be interested in reading. There isn't much else to say. It definitely could've been better, a twist could've been added, better sex scenes, etc. but the book was predictable. It took me forever to finish the book due to lack of interest lol.
review 2: Eh, where to start...I am literally forcing myself to finish this book. So far, the book is about a couple stuck in a sexless marriage. The husband has major issues when it comes to "rising to the ocassion" and does not do any foreplay or oral on the wife. However, the wife still sticks by him. What... more I would like to know is if he was so bad in bed, why did she marry him? And on top of that, after 20 years she's still with him? The book doesn't really give a background story on the husband and wife and I think it may have made the book better if it was included. The husband begins cheating on his wife with an ex crackhead who, from the description in the book, is not even attractive. He does things to his mistress that he has never done to his wife and I was ready to jump in the book and give him the beat down he deserved. A lot of things in the book are so outrageous and unbelievable. This is the first Allison Hobbs book I've read and I hope her other books are nothing like it. Haven't finished the book yet but I'm pretty sure the ending will not be much better. less
