review 1: Cody and Dante want the same things only they don't know it. By giving into their fears and not talking they drag out thier insecurities. This leads to misunderstandings and more confusion. Hopefully this is not the last we see of Cody and Dante. It was left with a HFN feel that could use some resolution...even if just a short story to show them communicating better and living/thinking as a unit.
review 2: 3.5 starsI liked the first one very much (gave it 4.5 stars). I still liked this one because I like the characters of Cody and Dante and I liked the ending. My personal opinion only is that I didn't like the menage elements. I know there are others who felt differently and that's fine, but to me Cody seemed so in love with Dante in the first book I had troub
... morele swallowing how gung ho he was over the threesomes. Yes, I know there are people who live and love the polyamourous (spelling?)lifestyle, but I don't even see that as the case here. To me they were living sort of as "swingers" and I know real people do that too, but that doesn't mean I like it.But I wanted to keep an open mind which is why I read it and like I said there were elements I enjoyed quite a bit and likely I would have rated this one higher otherwise. But there are others who definitely liked the threesome elements as we've seen from other reviews. Anyway, I am still glad I read the book and saw how it ended for Cody and Dante. less
