review 1: Oh holey hell is the first thing in my mind. This was SOOO worth the rest of my day off to read! Both of these guys have ISSUES. Tom is dealing with some serious 'gun shy' reporter stalking and getting noticed, wanting to stay as far under the radar as he can due to the criminal aspect of family time. While Reece is dealing with the aftermath of an ordeal the best he can. Tom starts getting aroused from the noises coming to him in the hallway from roomie random hookups and even has a voyeuristic moment. The fact of the matter that he has no issues in privacy to confront head on his new-found attraction to a guy is awesome. But of course the public thing is the biggest issue for him, mostly due to the mess of reporters he had to deal with and the hard of stepping out of the... more closet. Reece is righteously equally supportive and pissed about the public hiding. Oh and when Reece takes Tom home to his dad for the first time... Thank the author for making me CRY damnit! Tom and pops have a heart stiring con-vo about Reece and limits on their intimacy with regards to what Reece is comfortable with. Now I'm going to be keeping an eye out for the next coming down the pike and perhaps a side bennie of Cash and Steph updates?
review 2: I enjoyed this book. A lot. The first half and the second half of the book had a very different feel. There were certain aspects of the story that were explained in greater detail than I thought was necessary. I was a bit thrown off that throughout the book we are given detailed events, but towards the end the details weren't given. I wanted to know more about where Reece was in dealing with his issues. I wanted more interaction after the "time spent outdoors on the green". (Said that way to avoid a spoiler.) I get that there was an epilogue. I just wanted more. Despite this I think the book is still worthy of 4 stars. The characters were likeable and I felt their reactions were authentic and believable. It was easy to root for these guys; I WANTED to see them happy. less

This was boring. I read much better MM romance in the past, I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea...
