review 1: Oh man. I found this book in the laundry room (where people leave books for others) and picked it up because I found Eat Pray Love insufferable and this one could not probably be worse. It was so much better! It was funnier, better written, less self-indulgent, and SOMEHOW, more deep? The guy who goes to Ireland to drink, Vegas to gamble, and Thailand to "experience physical pleasure" was more mature before the year of adventuring, and somehow actually learned more about life than his "wife". (I also loved the allusions to Liz Gilbert being the wife who left him!)
review 2: I would probably give it a 2 1/2. (Goodreads should institute half stars!) It was a quick read, and I actually did enjoy it...but it wasn't fabulous, it wasn't horrible...I know he was
... moretrying to play off of Eat/Pray/Love (in a variety of ways, let alone the cover)....Quick read, reminds me of something I'd take to the beach...I just have high star standards! :) It is a 4 star--kick back and read at the beach--book. After I discuss this with my book club, I"ll get more in depth! :) less

Funny spoof on Elizabeth Gilberts; "Eat, Pray, Love". Not as clever, but still entertaining.

Good male take on Eat, Pray, Love. Though not as good as Eat, Pray, Love. :)

The second quarter lost me so much that I never made it to the third.
