review 1: Written in a unique style, describing her own previous misgivings as she searched for God in her life, and found the difference between chasing Him and holding still and gazing at Him. I highlighted many portions in my Kindle edition, and re-read them after finishing the book. Angie Smith gives simplifying ways understanding our relationship to God, yet which are not shallow, but profound. Worth later meditations.
review 2: I picked this book up because the title intrigued me, as it is supposed to do. I felt like I was chasing God in a sense, and so I was interested to read what she had to say. I related to much of what she wrote, and enjoyed the familiar voice in which she wrote. I liked the dialogue, the friendship offered out, and the acceptance of what s... morehe was sharing. It made me stop and think when she asked if I was looking for God or looking at Him. Actually, several things made me stop and think. Faith is the belief in things unseen, but why was I continually looking for the proof? less
