review 1: I think this story had a lot of potential for being a really good story, but the author apparently didn't know how to go about it. To me, if felt as though the story began at the middle of a book and ended before the epilogue. I wanted to know more about Leinad's life with the Fae and how Danny(the changeling)decided to stay with his human family. The characters weren't very well developed. I really didn't care much about Leinad. I think we were supposed to feel sorry for him, but he was made to seem pretty unpleasant. I felt badly for Danny, but couldn't feel any chemistry between him and Leinad. I guess this was the first of a series, but frankly, I wasn't interested enough in these two characters to want to buy the next book in the series.
review 2: This
... more is a very creepy novella about a man that was kidnapped by fae as a child and his escape/release where he finds himself back home but someone or something has taken over his life.. Its a very bittersweet tale with a HFN ish ending. I really enjoyed this book it kept me thinking all the way. The despcitions were spot on and emotive. I would recomment this to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre and who doesnt mind the fact that there wont be a HEA. I havent read anything by this author before and I know that there are others in the series which I will be looking out for. less

Lovely descriptive prose... dark fairy tale. I liked this one a lot!

I really didn't like this strange short story. It was dark, and sad.

I liked the concept, but the execution is all kinds of terribad.
