review 1: The Knife That Killed Me by Anthony McGowan was an amazing book. This book kept me interested the whole way through. This book was written in first person. It was narrated by the main character Paul Varderman. I love how the author has the narrator use wittiness and dry humor to hide his true pain. Throughout the book there is great detail that helps you understand the main character and his struggle through high school. This book is somewhat a mystery, but I do feel it could also be a drama. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.
review 2: It was overall a very easy book to read, so I finished very quickly. the book is about a very serious topic, dispite the slightly cheesy, in a morbid way, title. The book is about a high schooler who gets caught
... more up in the wrong crowd after being a loner most of his life. The magnetism of the antagonist, Roth, is plain to see. after leading up to what seems an ovbious ending, the final twist will suprise you. Overall it is a very good book. less
