review 1: I really did like this but the relationship between the two main characters was just a bit too confrontational and aggressive! Plus the treatment the heroine received at the hands of the hero's mother was awful and she never received a proper apology for it! Apparently these two families are incredibly close but no one notices that she despises the heroine, plus nothing is mentioned regarding how she dealt with events at the end of the book which would have been the perfect time for them to declare a truce. I am well aware that this is just me being fussy but this stuff really bugged me which was a shame as enjoyed the book a great deal and have loved other stuff Jensen has written.
review 2: I enjoyed this sweet story about high school sweethearts who meet up ... moreagain after 10 years.The story starts with Regan returning to her hometown after finding her fiance, Daniel in a compromising position with his secretary. This situation was made worse because her fiance was also her boss. The return home was a surprise to Regan as she was welcomed with open arms after she had left on very bad terms with her family and boyfriend Brooks 10 years ago.Lots of drama with some laughs as well. Some great characters including her family that made you love the little town and Regan's two best friends that she met on her travels, Johnny and JC were great.Loved that Brooks was so persistent, but I could totally understand Reagan's hesitancy.I really liked this story. There were a few errors, but not enough to distract me from the story. Will definitely be reading more from this author. less
