review 1: Ho molto da dire a proposito di questo terzo libro......della serie della Pike. Il libro in sé mi è piaciuto, ma ci sono parecchi punti che mi hanno un po' fatto innervosire. Prima di tutto: l'uso delle parole. Parole come "bigiare" e "mi spiace" non le sopporto. Si dice "mi DIspiace", mi spiace mi ricorda una forma gergale o un dialetto. Dopodiché... il triangolo amoroso David-Laurel-Tamani è più attivo di prima, credo sia stato il libro più centrato sul triangolo, ma a tratti mi ha fatto esasperare. Laurel è insopportabile, vuole entrambi i ragazzi e si comporta come una bambina capricciosa, mentre Tamani, in alcuni punti, appare come il suo cagnolino e questo non è da Tamani, non è nello stile del personaggio. Devo dire che però mi sono piaciuti molto due pers... moreonaggi del libro: Yuki che trovo ben strutturata e ben ideata e Chelsea che trovo incredibilmente simpatica. Alla fine il libro non è niente di che, ma si legge ed è piacevole.
review 2: Wow! So much better than the last book (which for some reason rubbed me the wrong way). I thought this book was great! Laurel is finally giving Tamani a chance (THANK YOU!), Klea and the newest addition to the series, Yuki, totally blind-sided me (I mean, I was NOT expecting that), and the possibility of David and Chelsea just sums everything else up perfectly. It took a little bit for the story to pick up, which is why I gave it 4 stars. After the last book, I thought I was going to be constantly annoyed with Illusions, but it really surprised me by making me forgive the grudges I had over the series, and got me uber-excited for the next book. Thumbs up for this book! less
