review 1: Winters tried really hard to create a cute, quirky female private investigator. It shows. The humor is forced, and comes off silly rather than actually funny. The direction she went in with Tiffany has her main character coming off as ridiculous - ill-prepared, unskilled, and unrealistic. Winters just piles on to that with caricatures for the remaining cast of characters. This was either a free kindle book or $2 so I do try to keep that in mind and set my expectations accordingly. Even considering that, two stars is it. Decent time filler on a plane (which is where I read this) but nothing more. There's better out there.
