review 1: Regret, grief and stress are the main things in Tamar Robinson's life. Tamar is under so much stress she is losing her hair and none of the adults in her life seem to be able to reach out to her as they are dealing with their own struggles. Tamar is a survivor though and is able to act like an adult and maneuver the problems she faces as well as any 16 year old could be asked to. This touching story will appeal to teens that often must rise up and be the adult in the family.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. Tamar is a young woman dealing with all the usual drama and torture of high school. Additionally, her older twin sisters died recently in a car accident, het mother runs away from home to a yoga retreat, her father spends his days making sculptures ou
... moret of empty beer cans, and all of her hair falls out. In spite of this, Tamar emerges like a butterfly from a cocoon. Through her experiences with first jobs and a role in the school play, Tamar finds the strength to reunite her family and open herself to the joy of first love. A refreshing read! less

Absolutely no plot and no ending. Really just no point. Quick read though!
