review 1: This was an interesting romance to read. The intensity of Adam and Eden's feelings swept me away, and I couldn't put the book down, however, that same intensity also made me uncomfortable. It was bordering on unhealthy obsession for both of them and seemed out of character for Eden since she was portrayed as a competent adult otherwise. I also was bothered by the way Adam's attitude about homosexuality was raised as such a huge issue for Eden, then just dropped as if it had never come up. First she's insisting she could never date someone who held his views, then all of a sudden, it's dropped and she goes on with the relationship like it was just some minor disagreement that meant nothing. Was that meant to show that she was so obsessed with him that she could overlook jus... moret about anything? Finally, I was annoyed by the numerous past v. present tense errors that made it obvious that the book hadn't been edited by anyone other than the author. I can overlook the occasional mistake - it seems like every book has a few these days - but there were just too many in this book. If you can't afford an editor, find a friend who is competent with grammar and have them copy edit for you.
review 2: I recieved this book through a Goodreads first Giveaway. What a very interesting way to write a book. I really enjoyed it. I found the beginning to be a little confusing but other than that It was really good. I have wondered before if a romance could develop without meeting the other person face to face because often people are not truthful and hide behind the computer. I loved the romance that developed in this book. I also loved the first ending as I love fairy tale endings. I did not like the second ending, although it does turn out good. I found the first ending to be something Adam would totally do and it was soo romantic. A very good book. I would urge anyone who finds the beginning hard to get into to please stick with it, it gets soooo much better and you will be missing out on a really good book. less
