review 1: It's a great, short & fast read at 86 pages. It was fun. The story has excellent potential to be developed for the next books. This is not the first book I've read by Aya Ling. She does have a habit of using incorrect words in a sentence and I have to go back & reread with the correct word. She mixes past tense with present tense or plural & singular in the same sentence. It's annoying, but I still enjoyed the story.
review 2: This book was cute.That's the right word for it, cute.This book would have been my favorite read ever, if I were between the ages of eight and twelve. But for a children's/preteen's book this was cute. It was different. A fat princess? Totally blows a cliche princess book out of the water, and I love it because it teaches young girls that... more they don't have to been skinny or perfect to find true love.I suggest it to all young girls out there. less
