review 1: Wet Moments was simple but colorful. Quantum Friends Awakened by wind, thirsty and mystified by the worm holes of truth. If atoms are probability patterns effected by relationships then truly we infuse objects with meaning. A keepsake is a bridge to the inner and outer worlds. The sensations we feel sitting next to a friend or stranger is the reading of energy through shared atmosphere and atoms. Our friends through cables and computer screens are as real as the light and sound waves we alter through thought. "Infuse Objects with meaning" and the sentence "A keepsake is bridge to the inner and outer worlds". I love it!
review 2: Wet Moments by - Belinda Subramam. The front cover of this book, makes it seem like its going to be all about sex, but its actually no
... moret. I like how the author wrote the poems that connected through nature and lust at the same time. At times, some of the poems got me wondering like: "what does this mean?" I thought this poem book was good, but could have been longer. I would give kudos for strong, meaningful mood, and effort throughout the authors style of writing poems. In my language art class we are were writing poems too and still on the verge of listening to more poetry. So as I was writing my own poems for language art, it made me thought of when I read this book, and gave me good ideas of how to work with writing a great piece of poetry or poetry lines and quotes. Sometimes where there are words in the poems that i don't get, i look up the word in the dictionary and when i know the meaning of the word, the poem makes more sense. Poetry is written in so many ways, that sometimes it's not even poetry anymore, it transform into a story that has poetry meaning in it. I am not saying that it's a bad thing, I think its very unique to express your own feelings but a the same time, use metaphors, alliterative, est to make your writing piece more interesting. For example, when I wrote something about my room, my teacher told me to elaborate more about whats in my room, write something that's in your room that seems weird or like a really weird thing to have in your room, and it can be true or not. So as i was thinking about what my teacher said, I had really great ideas flowing in my mind. If anyone likes poetry, then read "Wet Moments". less
