review 1: In a story very familiar to kids with younger siblings, Gizmo, Sprinkles, and Wild are vexed and perplexed by their friend Rex and his desire to wreck everything they build. In a very sweet ending, the four manage to build something together. I really enjoyed the illustrations on this one. They are a little whimsical without being over-designed. Rex, Gizmo, Sprinkles, and Wild all have excellent, and different facial expressions, and their creations are really cool! Great readaloud for preschoolers or toddlers during storytimes about building, friendship, or destruction!

In this book the playmates learn that everyone can ad... mored to the fun of playing and when you might even have fun doing something someone else wants to do.I would have the students play a game of would you rather to get them thinking about things they like to do best and things others like to do that they would like too. They could write their favorite free time activates on slips of paper and then we could put them in a hat. The teacher could draw two and say would you rather swing at recess or read a book.
