review 1: I'm a sucker for inspirational stories of personal triumph, so Ben's story was a pleasure to read. I saw his video on YouTube like so many other people and was impressed and motivated by his transformation and his heart. I loved how Ben was brutally honest about himself and how low he sank before he was about to grab that spark and light a fire under himself and change his life completely. It isn't easy to overcome any obstacle, but Ben had further to climb and than most and he still found a way. Thank you for sharing your story and hopefully setting off that spark in many more people!
review 2: I downloaded the audiobook from my library and it came with enhanced content - an Adobe Digital Editions PDF of supplemental files. At first glance, I wasn't sure how m
... moreuch I would like this book. I recently started running with 2-3 intervals of 5 min walking, 1 min running each session, and I'm barely making it through the running. I looked at his recommended 5k training plan, and it's way too tough a workout - even for someone who is in good shape. If you do 1 min run/1 min walk intervals your first time at running, you're probably going to stop running. It is not clear whether this book is a memoir, running guide, book about inspiration, etc. It strikes me as another media tie-in to make some money as part of the 'Do Life' movement. I did not get a clear idea of what this movement is, what the basic principles are, or how to join. I wanted to like Ben's story about his journey, but it was all so simplified and watered down, it was hard to relate to his achievements or even conceive that it really could have been that simple. Maybe Ben is built like Eddie Izzard, who has a natural affinity for running and his body is perfectly matched to the stresses that come with marathons (Eddie is running 27 marathons across South Africa in 27 days - each marathon marking one year that Nelson Mandela spent incarcerated in prison). less

Not nearly as good or as interesting as his Tumblr feed, or as inspirational as his video.
