review 1: This book was ok entertainment, but the story did not capture me at all. It looked like too much was crammed into this story. 15, 20 years of silence and animosity was waved away like it was nothing. Dallas changes personality almost overnight, and she does not seem very genuine. I just didn't really like her. I also felt that I missed some background information, but it looks like there were two earlier books that I didn't know about.
review 2: "The Sassy Belles are at it again and proving that nobody can do a Southern Christmas quite like them. Comparatively, Sleigh Belles is more on the chick-lit side, as the mystery element from the first two installments is noticeably absent. It's a great read with great characterization of strong Southern women, sassy wit
... more and nice attention to scenery and local detail. Loaded with charm, per usual, Sleigh Belles is a rollicking good time." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars less
