review 1: I try to give every book that I read an equal chance. By the fifth chapter I usually know if I want to continue reading the book. I couldn't make it past chapter three of The Clockwork Dagger. I honestly though that I would like this book. An interesting setting, A women that has a great power that she doesn't fully understand. A heroin that's not whiny or too head strong. I just couldn't read anymore of this book

Alas, answers to the who & what of the Lady, the war between the Casketians and the Dallows and what happens next in the burgeoning romance between Octavia & Mr. Garrett will have to wait until the next book.
